As part of a team, I was responsible for particle-based hologram elements, including forward motion, “wind tunnel” movement in the virtual cycling class. Holograms in the cycling close-up shot interact with the live action plate, with flow lines wrapping around the actor. The fencing scene required rough match moving of the torso and blade of the saber. A holographic overlay was generated highlighting thrust and impact.
Slap comps were completed in After Effects and handed to Nuke to complete.
Motorola partnered with Los York to launch the global Motorola Edge franchise, a line of premium tier devices.
Part of a large team, I was responsible for look development, lighting, and animation of product shots.
Lighting for multiple products required distinct environments and characteristics while living side-by-side as a product family. Marrying the product to the environment while remaining true to the colorways was paramount. The system evolved as key approval stages were met.
While working full-time at The Office of Development & Design (ODD), I had the pleasure of developing the holographic phone UI panels, a storytelling-device central to the spot. In the weeks preceding the live action shoot, we developed different looks for the UI. The approved 3D UI panels were directly transferred to the live action plates once they were tracked. Initial comp was done in After Effects and handed off to a Nuke artist for final comp.
#OFFF to Barcelona! I created this OFFF teaser in anticipation of attending my first OFFF (and to push myself to learn Arnold in C4D). Inspired by all-things Mies VanDerRohe: The Barcelona Pavilion and Barcelona Chair. I literally mashed the chair into a kinetic symmetry, embodying the energy of the conference. I tackled modeling, editing, animation and production.

Havas NYC came to ODD to execute their "You have the power campaign" for Con Edison.
The CE logomark is extruded as a ribbon through custom live action shots of the greater NYC area. From pitch through production, I developed multiple looks and motion tests for the ribbon that dances its way through the shots enabling "Your Power". Part Technical Director, part CG Supervisor, I lead a team of C4D artists through production and managed handing-off render passes to Nuke compers.
Brian Fogel asked for help illustrating tech metaphors in key parts of the film. Dark and techy was the vibe; cyber-security, malware, and social media warfare, the topics. I lead a team of C4D artists in-house, from the early stages of look-dev, through production at 4K. We were one of three teams working in parallel - the others, focusing on the social media warfare aspect and the overall branding elements.

The redesigned opener was inspired from sculptural mirror work by the likes of Murray Fredericks, Jeppe Hein, Shirin Abedinirad and Phillip K. Smith III. One of the strokes of the “X” in Explorer becomes a monolith staked into the ground of the locations featured in the opener - effectively branding the landscape while unobtrusively reflecting the surroundings.
From Pitch through production, I was responsible for concepting, motion tests, look dev and final production.
Higharc came to ODD asking to tell the story of their automated, all-in-one web platform which allows homebuilders to customize a home without the use of a traditional architect. Using models provided, I lit, textured and animated this piece based on an approved previs.
